IT Consulting Since 1998
IT Mentor Group, Inc. is located in San Diego, California and provides IT consulting, technical training, staffing, and contracting services around the globe. ITMG is a SBA Certified HUBZone, an Economically Disadvantaged Woman Owned Small Business (EDWOSB), Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned (SDVOSB), and Native American Owned Small Business (NAO).
IT Mentor Group, Inc. was founded in 1998 by Daniel T. Altbaum as an Information Technology consulting and training company. By 2002, ITMG had provided solutions to many of the Fortune 100 companies around the globe, and trained over 10,000 IT professionals. With ITMG’s high level of technical expertise, it was only a matter of time before the military noticed. ITMG began contracting to SPAWAR in 2002 to support the DoD with FORCEnet initiatives, and has worked on a variety of high profile projects ever since.
Our professional and technical support focuses on network design and architecture, systems and security engineering and integration, research, development and testing (RDT&E) and large scale experiment services for DoD and commercial industries. Core ITMG capabilities include: Network and IT support, Cyber Security Engineering support specific to Information Systems Security Engineering (ISSE), Information Assurance (IA) and Certification and Accreditation (C&A), Exercise and Experimentation Support, Training and Operational Support, New Technology Assessment and Prototyping and Integration work.
